Valsero congratulates Choupo-Moting after Bayern Munich’s qualification for the Champions League semi-finals.
Choupo-Moting is the only Cameroonian still involved in the Champions League this season. Last night, the Cameroonian international and his team Bayern Munich secured qualification by defeating Arsenal. Choupo-Moting watched from the bench as Bayern Munich qualified for the Champions League semi-finals by beating Arsenal 1-0 [3-2 on aggregate] at the Allianz Arena.
“It’s no coincidence that the only Cameroonian player qualified for the Champions League, the prestigious Champions League, is the one that the national coach of the Indomitable Lions rejected for the Africa Cup. Eric Maxim Choupo-Moting is the kind of player who brings luck first and foremost. When he plays for a club, that club has a good star,” Valsero stated.
As the sole Cameroonian remaining in the competition, Choupo Moting and the Bavarians will have to face Real Madrid in the semi-finals.
