The Egyptian national team recently unveiled its list of players called up for the 2023 Africa Cup of Nations in Côte d’Ivoire. Unsurprisingly, Liverpool star Mohamed Salah is among the chosen few. Another name attracting attention is Gabaski, the goalkeeper who shone at the previous edition following Mohamed El-Shenawy’s injury.
The Pharaohs’ line-up also includes talents from the European continent, such as Arsenal’s Mohamed Elneny and FC Nantes’ Mostafa Mohamed.
Omar Marmoush of Frankfurt also strengthens the squad. Egypt will face Mozambique, Ghana and Cape Verde in Group B of the competition.
