A French journalist claims that the Real Madrid player and his entourage are behind a smear campaign on social media.
For his return to the French national team, Kylian Mbappé held a press conference this Wednesday, during which he was repeatedly asked if he had any relationship problems with other players on the French national team, or even the retired Antonie Griezmann.
“We talk very often with most of my teammates; there are many with whom I go on vacation. It was more about being with the French national team. Internally, the explanation was always very clear; externally, it was more vague,” Kylian replied.
Regarding Griezmann, he added: “I can assure you that Antoine and I have a very good relationship. He’s already invited me to his house several times for a barbecue. But in Madrid, it’s impossible to do that before the double-header. It hasn’t been possible yet, but we’re sure we’ll manage it; we live next door, in the same apartment building.”
A few hours later, a well-known French journalist, Romain Molina, stirred up trouble, suspecting the player’s entourage of criticizing and even insulting certain journalists and players from the French national team, PSG, and even Real Madrid, under the cover of anonymous accounts on the X-rated network.
“There’s going to be a good atmosphere with the French national team and in the Real Madrid locker room. Does the player know about this? Because in the community, everyone has figured out who’s behind the “Floflo” accounts. I don’t know whether to laugh or cry, but that’s the reality behind the communication,” Molina wrote in a first tweet.
“Who’s behind the famous Floflo accounts? Who could have confidential information related to Mbappé (that almost no one knows), insult a lot of people (journalists, players, etc.), put down Barcola, demean Real Madrid players, or talk about Caen?” added the man who describes himself as more of an investigator than a journalist.
