After initially sparking controversy by declaring he wouldn’t watch any of Brazil’s matches in the Copa America, Ronaldinho has reversed course and announced his full support for the national team.
The 2005 Ballon d’Or winner had expressed frustration with the team’s recent performances, labeling them among the “worst in recent years.”
However, he has now changed his tune, emphasizing the importance of supporting the talented young players in the team.
“I said that to get a reaction from everyone. I will support Brazil like never before,” Ronaldinho said.
“Brazil needs this support, the young players have a lot of talent and desperately need the support of the Brazilian people.
It’s the Copa America, and we can come back with the trophy,” he added.
