Trent Alexander-Arnold, the Liverpool full-back, has three footballing icons with whom he dreams of dining.
The international player listed the three names during an interview, omitting the names of several other highly popular stars.
For instance, the Reds’ player did not mention the names of Lionel Messi, Neymar, or even David Beckham in his list.
Instead, he opted for a French legend, one from his beloved club Liverpool, and finally, a legend from Real Madrid and the Portugal national team.
Zinedine Zidane, Steven Gerrard, and Cristiano Ronaldo were the names chosen by Trent Alexander-Arnold for a potential dinner.
“Three people I dream of dining with? Steven Gerrard, Zidane, and probably Cristiano Ronaldo,” he declared. During the interview, the Englishman also spoke on two other subjects: the teammate he’s closest to in both club and national team, and Manchester City’s chances of winning the Premier League.
“My best friend in football? At the club, Robertson. With the national team, probably Jude Bellingham,” he confessed.
Regarding the title race in the league, Trent Alexander-Arnold doesn’t see Manchester City losing the advantage they currently hold.
“Handing Manchester City a six-game advantage at this stage is almost handing them the title. Their team, their manager, they’re fantastic; it’s hard to think they won’t win it at this point,” he explained.
