According to Anthony Joshua, UFC champion Alex Pereira is considering getting involved in boxing, as suggested by his management company.
The British-Nigerian boxer surprised everyone when he tweeted about the UFC light heavyweight champion.

Pereira once again showed the world why he is on the verge of becoming a UFC great. At UFC 303, he faced Jiri Prochazka for the second time in his professional career.
With the light heavyweight belt on the line, “Poatan” once again proved himself worthy of the moment. He successfully defended his championship after knocking out the previous champion in the second round.
Following the Brazilian’s triumph, Anthony Joshua seemed impressed and suggested he venture into boxing.
“Alex Pereira should make his boxing debut someday,” he tweeted. Although Pereira isn’t yet considering an opponent, he appreciated the advice. He is known for his powerful left hooks, which have contributed to multiple victories in the UFC.
While the Brazilian has a professional boxing win under his belt, it appears he is hesitant to make the switch.
In response to Joshua, Pereira tweeted, “I’m honored that you think so. It has always been my dream, I’m 37 years old, I can’t make a career in this field, so who do you recommend I fight?”
Anthony Joshua has now responded to the Brazilian’s message, which could reveal something new.
“The options are endless, champion. I’m sure something can be arranged. Drop a message to @258mgt,” he replied.
With two successful title defenses in as many months, Pereira is thriving in the UFC. He has defeated his opponents each time by knockout.
