Arda Güler: the beautiful gesture made by Madrid players to their Turkish teammate

On Tuesday, June 18, 2024, the young Turkish player made headlines during Turkey’s first match at Euro 2024.

Facing Georgia in Group F, the 19-year-old Madrid native shone with a goal and an exceptional performance that earned him the Man of the Match award.

This debut for the young player was celebrated by his fellow players at the Spanish club on social media.

Jude Bellingham, Thibaut Courtois, Fede Valverde, and Rodrygo, among others, appreciated the player’s goal on their Instagram accounts.

For Arda Güler, it’s another dream beginning to come true.

“Some of my teammates from Real Madrid congratulated me, they sent me a text right after the match, and Ancelotti did the same… I’m glad to have them!

My dreams haven’t all come true yet, just a few of them,” he said.

As a reminder, Turkey, placed in Group F, holds the top spot after defeating Georgia three goals to one.

On Saturday, June 22, they will face Cristiano Ronaldo’s Portugal, who are currently in second place in the group.
