The Ballon d’Or 2024 race is highly uncertain at the moment. While Vinicius Jr was initially leading as a favorite, the standings have become more unpredictable due to the Euro and Copa America tournaments.
Now, the Brazilian is no longer assured of winning the Ballon d’Or, though he remains a significant contender.

According to L’Equipe, the Ballon d’Or will be contested among Vinicius Jr, Jude Bellingham, and Rodri. These three are leading the pack. Kylian Mbappé will not be on the podium, as confirmed.
However, the final votes will decide the winner, with expectations of a very close competition. The award ceremony for the Ballon d’Or 2024 is scheduled for Monday, October 28th, at the Théâtre du Châtelet in Paris, as announced by organizers on Thursday.
Additionally, this year will introduce two new awards: Coach of the Season (male team, club, or national team) and Coach of the Season (female team, club, or national team). The nominees for all categories (men’s and women’s Ballon d’Or, best young player, best goalkeeper, top scorer, men’s and women’s club trophies, men’s and women’s coach of the year) will be revealed on September 4th.
