The future of Polish striker Robert Lewandowski at Barcelona has been heavily questioned in recent weeks.

In this regard, according to Marca, the name of a Premier League forward is being mentioned as a potential replacement.

Indeed, according to the British media outlet The Sun, Barcelona has Darwin Núñez, the Liverpool forward, on their agenda.

Núñez is now being touted as a potential replacement for Polish striker Lewandowski.

Meanwhile, the English club is reportedly willing to sell the Uruguayan forward, who has not performed at the desired level since his arrival.

Moreover, Barcelona’s striker Lewandowski arrived at Camp Nou two summers ago. His performance as a Culé has been quite good. Last season, he scored 33 goals, becoming the team’s top scorer. However, his numbers for this year are less impressive, with a total of 24 goals.

Lewandowski shuts the door on Saudi Arabia

However, the Iberian press continues to report that the Pole is on his way out. Media outlets have mentioned Saudi Arabia’s interest in the former Bayern Munich player.

But Robert Lewandowski does not feel ready to leave Catalonia yet.

“I will only start thinking about leaving when I feel that I am no longer in my best physical condition and when I feel pain. But I don’t feel that at the moment. I haven’t thought about it yet. I haven’t had time to think about going to Saudi Arabia or the United States. Right now, I believe I can definitely play at this high level until 2026,” explained the Polish international.
