However, this time around, it appears that the Munich club has finally found the ideal candidate for next season.
Austria shouldn’t worry about Ralf Rangnick. The coach will remain, at least until after the European Cup this summer, leading the Austrian team.
Indeed, some media outlets speculate more than ever about his possible departure for Bayern Munich.
But that would only happen after the Euro in Germany (June 14-July 14).
According to TZ cited by Mundo Deportivo, Rangnick is the leading candidate to become the new coach of the Bavarian team. This comes after Xabi Alonso’s “no,” as he will stay at Bayer Leverkusen. Not to mention Julian Nagelsmann, who has decided to renew his contract with the German national team.
It seems that the signing could happen within a week. According to the aforementioned media, Max Eberl and Christoph Freund, responsible for the sporting aspect of Bayern, have already met with Rangnick.
