Jude Bellingham jokingly called out teammate Endrick on social media after the Brazilian prodigy bragged at training.
Endrick took to Instagram and shared an image of himself running with Real Madrid colleague Jude Bellingham during a training session. In the caption, the Brazilian wrote: “I won, buddy @judebellingham”.
In response, Bellingham re-shared Endrick’s story on his Instagram profile and wrote: “Be honest Bob”. Bellingham has previously admitted to nicknaming his teammate Bobby after the latter claimed to be a big fan of Sir Bobby Charlton.
Real not at their best
Bellingham and Endrick shone in Real Madrid’s victory over Real Sociedad in the first leg of the Copa del Rey in midweek, the English midfielder providing the assist for the Madrid prodigy’s only goal of the game in the 19th minute. The Brazilian international enjoyed his best night to date in a Real Madrid shirt, making only his fourth start for Los Blancos since joining them last summer.
While Los Merengues are on course to reach the King’s Cup final with a slight lead over Real Sociedad, their La Liga woes continued with a 2-1 defeat by Real Betis on Saturday. With Atlético Madrid and Barcelona winning their respective league games, Carlo Ancelotti’s team slipped to third place in the standings.
