In a week’s time, Carlo Ancelotti’s Real Madrid will face Dortmund at Wembley in England in an attempt to win their 15th Champions League title.
Days before the most important match of the season, the head coach of the Spanish giants addressed UEFA media.
The Italian tactician discussed the upcoming summit clash, where Real will take on Borussia Dortmund at Wembley.
“I try to enjoy the present moment, and it’s a very good moment. The stress will build up, but the goal is to make it come as late as possible.
We need to savor the moment, the big match, the most important match of the year, and the most beautiful match to experience.
We are very happy to be in another final. Borussia Dortmund deserves to be in the final, just like Real Madrid. They are a solid, compact team, with great individual talents,” he stated.
Alongside the Champions League final, Carlo Ancelotti reflected on the strengths of his team.
“The best quality the team has shown this year is the attitude, concentration, and teamwork in each individual.
I believe that’s what made the difference this season, which has been very good despite the difficulties faced initially.
We can say that the team’s best qualities are competitiveness, seriousness, and the ability to overcome all obstacles,” he concluded.
