After five months of ordeal, full-back Dani Carvajal is beginning to see the light at the end of the tunnel.

Dani Carvajal continues his recovery from the serious injury he suffered last October. The full-back required surgery and his goal is to return for the Club World Cup this summer.

On October 6, 2024, Carvajal suffered one of the worst injuries a football player can experience. While attempting to clear a ball, his knee caught under Yeremy Pino’s thigh. The Spaniard’s cry of pain chilled the entire Bernabéu. In tears, Dani had to be stretchered off.

This Wednesday, Real Madrid released a video showing how Carvajal is working on his recovery. The full-back has already put his boots back on, which is very important for him, as this is a crucial step in his recovery.

“Now that I’m back on the pitch with my boots, you can see I’m closer to a comeback. I never thought I’d feel this way during a very light individual training session. One day less,” Carvajal explained in the video released by the club.

While the news is exciting for Carvajal, it will still be difficult to expect him to play again this season. However, the Spaniard is making great strides towards recovery, and his goal is none other than to participate in the Club World Cup, which will take place from June to July.
