Cristiano Ronaldo, the Portuguese star of Saudi club Al Nassr, seems keen on trying his hand at the player agent profession.
The Portuguese international is on the lookout for experienced players for his current club, and what better way to persuade them than reaching out to his former teammates.
Convinced that the Saudi Pro League will offer them a great experience, the former Real Madrid striker has personally contacted two players. Ronaldo has reached out to them to try and convince them to join Al Nassr, the team he has been playing for over 18 months now.
Like a player agent, Cristiano Ronaldo has contacted Casemiro and Nacho Fernandez to discuss Al Nassr with them.
The first is still a Manchester United player but has had difficulties with the Manchester club, and a departure this summer is not out of the question. As for Real Madrid captain Nacho Fernandez, he recently announced that he will leave his club freely at the end of this season.
While rumors had linked him to the MLS alongside Lionel Messi, the Spaniard might be tempted by the idea of playing again with the Portuguese.
For now, the ball is in the court of the two players contacted by “player agent” Cristiano Ronaldo.
It’s up to them to decide whether they will leave Europe altogether for an adventure in Asia or continue on the old continent.
