Former Manchester United goalkeeper Peter Schmeichel has revealed the best coach to replace Erik Ten Hag and become the next boss of the Red Devils.

Indeed, he believes that Thomas Tuchel would be the best choice as the next manager of Manchester United.

Schmeichel, the legendary former United goalkeeper, is impressed by Tuchel’s football expertise and thinks he can bring out the best in the players.

Speaking on BeIN Sports, Schmeichel stated that Tuchel did not fail during his time at Chelsea and deserved a chance to lead Manchester United.

He also believes that Tuchel, currently the coach of Bayern Munich, has a strong presence and can inspire respect.

Schmeichel wants Tuchel to replace Erik Ten Hag.

“He’s had a bit of bad luck of playing for two big football clubs at the wrong time in their history, at a time when things weren’t working at all levels. It’s not like he didn’t do well at Chelsea, for example. I mean, he won the Champions League, didn’t he?

I like him, there’s something about him. He exudes authority.

Never compare people, but he’s got the same kind of thing as Jürgen Klopp.

You know he’s the boss and you know what he’s doing. If Manchester United were looking for a manager, then he should be someone mentioned in that regard,” he said.
