Arda Güler, the Turkish international, made his debut for Turkey at Euro 2024 held in Germany.

Scoring a magnificent goal against Georgia, the young forward from Real Madrid delivered an impressive performance.

Turkey’s and Real Madrid’s rising star also set a record previously held by Cristiano Ronaldo.

At 19 years and 114 days old, Güler became the youngest player to score on his debut in a European Championship.

Previously, CR7 held this record at 19 years and 128 days during Euro 2004 in Portugal. It’s worth noting that Turkey and Portugal will face each other as they are in the same group.

Many football enthusiasts hope to see the young prodigy have a career akin to the five-time Ballon d’Or winner.

Arda Güler will need to work hard and aspire to perform as well as Cristiano Ronaldo, both for his club and national team.
