Kylian Mbappé did not need to wear his mask, despite his injury. The images went viral globally, with many observers amazed to see Mbappé’s nose looking perfectly fine despite the fracture. Gary Lineker and Alan Shearer echoed this surprise.
Shocked English reaction
“How did they straighten his nose like that?” Alan Shearer questioned, with Gary Lineker also reacting, “He looks alright, doesn’t he? Not too bad? He looks fairly fit for a broken nose,” commented the former English international.
