Fabian Ruiz, a standout performer at Euro 2024, discussed his future in an interview. His performance for Spain has been a revelation, surprising many who didn’t expect him to excel at this level.

Anchoring Spain’s midfield alongside Rodri, Pedri, and Dani Olmo, the Andalusian midfielder has been exceptional on German pitches. This contrasts sharply with his inconsistent form at PSG this season. In his interview with Le Parisien, Ruiz addressed the differences between his international form and his club form: “I don’t pay much attention to criticism.

If some prefer me in the national team over the club, I have nothing to say to them. The key is to give my all for both teams.” He noted similarities in playing styles between PSG and Spain, both favoring possession under Spanish coaches.

Despite his Euro success, PSG’s management reportedly remains open to offers for the former Betis player. However, Ruiz himself expressed reluctance to leave: “You want me to leave? (Laughs) I know my name comes up every transfer window, but I’m happy in Paris.

I still have three years on my contract and plenty of goals to achieve with PSG.” His message is clear: he’s not eager to depart the French capital, leaving the ball in PSG’s court for any incoming offers.
