Kylian Mbappé will play for Zinedine Zidane’s former club, Real Madrid, starting from next season.

After spending 7 years at PSG, the former Monaco player has decided to leave Ligue 1 and has not hesitated to sign with his dream club.

The captain of the French national team has inked a 5-year contract with the Madrid club and will be their biggest signing of this summer’s transfer window. To introduce Kylian Mbappé, Real Madrid has decided to pull out all the stops by involving one of his childhood idols, Zinedine Zidane.

The former coach of the Madrid club will announce the player at the Santiago Bernabeu on July 16, 2024, the chosen day to present the Frenchman to the supporters.

With Mbappé, Real Madrid hopes to surpass the presentation of Cristiano Ronaldo in 2009 when the Portuguese star joined the club from Man Utd. At that time, Di Stéfano and Eusebio were called upon to introduce the future top scorer in the club’s history.

During that presentation, the Santiago Bernabeu stadium gathered no fewer than 85,000 spectators.

This time around, Florentino Perez and his team aim to do even better, and to achieve their goal, the “Zizou” brand will be enlisted.

So, mark your calendars for July 16, 2024, to see if the Madrid executives’ plan will bear fruit.
