Taking action on the matter, the Parla District Court No. 5 has sentenced the perpetrator to eight months in prison. “The accused has been found guilty, specifically of two crimes against moral integrity committed against Vinicius Junior and Antonio Rüdiger, both aggravated by racially motivated actions and, in the case of Antonio Rüdiger, also by religious contempt.

The court has imposed an eight-month prison sentence on the accused and a prohibition from participating in the aforementioned forum for 20 months. The suspension of the custodial sentence is conditional on the accused’s participation in an equality and non-discrimination program.

This marks the second criminal conviction for racist insults directed at Real Madrid players, and notably the first to penalize such intolerable attacks occurring on digital forums and social media.
