When asked about potential arrivals within his squad, Pep Guardiola was very clear about the situations in which his team would make a recruitment.
According to him, Man City will not recruit any more players unless there are departures in the current squad. The club will consider a new signing only if a player leaves. The club has already signed Savinho from Troyes, and the Spaniard seems satisfied with what he currently has.
“Will Manchester City sign more players with Savinho? Currently, no.
If someone leaves in the end, maybe. But if no one leaves, I think we will stay as we are,” said the former Barça coach.
Having won the English championship four times consecutively, the Spanish technician dominates the Premier League and aims to do the same in the Champions League.
Blocked by Real Madrid last season, the club wants to win its second star this season, and for Guardiola, the current squad can achieve this goal.
