Manchester City manager Pep Guardiola has revealed that the club might lose one of its key players before the start of the new season.

He hinted that Manchester City’s Brazilian goalkeeper, Ederson, could leave the club this summer after seven successful years.

Following a 4-3 friendly defeat against Celtic in the United States, Guardiola expressed uncertainty about Ederson’s future. Guardiola refuses to rule out Ederson’s departure.

“I don’t know, he might have to consider other options now. Of course, I’d like him to stay.

It now depends on the clubs. I don’t know the situation, no contact in recent days. It’s a matter of training and being with us until the end of the transfer window, and we’ll see what happens,” he said.

With the transfer window still open, Guardiola remains unsure about Ederson’s fate, stating, “We’ll see what happens until the last day.”

Ederson has played a crucial role in City’s success, and Guardiola praised the team’s trio of goalkeepers by stating:

“We have three incredible goalkeepers… a really important position in the team.”

Meanwhile, the City boss confirmed that star midfielder Kevin De Bruyne will remain at the club until his final season.
