The platform has ranked the 30 best top strikers of the 21st century, essentially taking into account their preferred positions.
Some of the greatest goalscorers in the history of the game are not on the list because they are not considered to be top strikers.
Players like Lionel Messi, Cristiano Ronaldo, Kylian Mbappé, Vinicius Jr, Neymar and Mohamed Salah are not included, even though they score a lot of goals.
They are rightly considered to be attacking midfielders who score a lot rather than top strikers.
However, it should be noted that not everyone agrees with Sport 90’s ranking of certain players.
The places of some of the world’s top scorers, such as Samuel Eto’o, Didier Drogba and Harry Kane, are considered too low for their achievements.
At the same time, many observers believe that Erling Haaland’s place is too high at the moment.
