“When I walk, I analyze the positioning of the opponent and how we are positioned when we don’t have the ball,” said the eight-time Ballon d’Or winner.
“I’m always attentive to marking tasks, I follow those who are not marked. I try to move away from my marker, mentally stepping out of the game. This way, I can position myself well if we regain possession of the ball. I can also have more time to launch a counter-attack or a play,” explained La Pulga.
