It shows that a player of exceptional talent, perhaps the greatest in soccer, puts his qualities at the service of the team. It’s something I deeply admire,” he declared.
The coach also made it clear that the management of penalties between Mbappé and Jude Bellingham would be handled calmly, especially in the absence of Vinicius. “Tomorrow, against Bilbao, it will be Mbappé or Bellingham who decides. It’s not up for debate. Mbappé’s action against Getafe could be interpreted as a sign of insecurity, but we see it as an act of responsibility and altruism, two essential qualities for us.”
