After 7 long seasons at Paris Saint-Germain, Kylian Mbappé has reached an agreement with Real Madrid.
The captain of the French national team will play for the Spanish club starting from next season, following their recent victory in their 15th Champions League.
Ahead of his presentation at the Bernabéu stadium, Kylian Mbappé has aroused anticipation among his fans, as well as from some media figures eager to witness his first match in Madrid’s colors.
But first, Kylian Mbappé is focused on the Euro 2024 competition with the French team.
The Blues, qualified for the round of 16, face Belgium on July 1, 2024.
Before the match, Kylian Mbappé attended a press conference where various questions about the upcoming game were posed to him. One question in particular made Mbappé smile. It referred to the French striker’s signing with Real Madrid.
“Are you already in the Real Madrid WhatsApp group? And if so, have you asked Thibaut Courtois any questions about the Belgian team?” he was asked.
Mbappé replied, “No, I’m not in the Real Madrid WhatsApp group yet, but I think it should happen soon.”
He continued, “And no, I haven’t spoken with Thibaut (Courtois). I know him a bit, but I haven’t talked to him. But it’s probably better that he’s not there. With him, it would have been tougher,” he admitted.
