Lamine Yamal, the prodigy from Barcelona and Spain, recently sat down for an interview with COPE during the ongoing Euro 2024 in Germany.
The dazzling 16-year-old was in excellent form as Spain defeated Croatia 3-0 in their opening match of the tournament, contributing with an assist.
Barcelona appears set for the next decade at least, with Yamal on the right wing, but after seeing Kylian Mbappé join Real Madrid, the Blaugrana will undoubtedly look to make their own additions.
Lamine Yamal wants Nico Williams at Barcelona
During the interview, Yamal was asked about Barcelona and which player he would like to see the club sign next season.
“Nico Williams, for sure. I would love to share a dressing room with him someday,” he said. Barcelona has identified the 21-year-old winger as a prime target for the summer transfer window, and it seems Yamal is actively working to persuade him to join the Catalan giants.
