Andréa Orlandi, a former FC Barcelona player who honed his skills in the reserve team, has made revelations about Lionel Messi. According to him, the Argentine used to serve coffee to Ronaldinho.
“It wasn’t pleasant to train with Messi; you couldn’t take the ball from him or even get close to him. He was shy, and Ronaldinho took care of him. Messi would prepare coffee for Ronny and wouldn’t say a word, but on the field, he turned into a monster,” the former forward told Goal.
“At that time, Ronaldinho was the benchmark, and he was the best thing I’ve ever seen in terms of pure quality. Messi was different from him. It wasn’t about showboating, but he would just show you the ball and it was no longer there,” he added.
