Last Sunday, PSG secured a 4-1 victory over Lyon during the 30th round of Ligue 1, a match in which Kylian Mbappé watched from the sidelines without entering the field. However, the 25-year-old forward is expected to regain a starting position this Wednesday on the pitch against Lorient.
Since informing PSG of his decision to leave the club at the end of the season when his contract expires, the management of Kylian Mbappé has changed. The French international finds himself increasingly on the bench, as was once again the case last Sunday against Lyon.
Five days after their qualification for the Champions League semi-finals with a 4-1 win over FC Barcelona, PSG convincingly defeated Lyon at Parc des Princes without Mbappé featuring. Now, on Wednesday night, the Parisian club travels to face Lorient in a match for the 29th round of Ligue 1.
Mbappé to start against Lorient
Despite not even making an appearance against Lyon, Kylian Mbappé is expected to reclaim a starting spot at Le Moustoir. As reported by Le Parisien, Luis Enrique is likely to field the 25-year-old forward against Lorient, alongside Gonçalo Ramos and Ousmane Dembélé in the attack.
