Manchester City, led by coach Pep Guardiola, aims to clinch the English Premier League title once again this season.
Eliminated from the Champions League by Real Madrid in the quarter-finals, the Manchester club has only two trophies left to chase: the Premier League championship and the FA Cup.
The Sky Blues will contest the FA Cup final again this season after knocking out Chelsea in the semi-final on Saturday, April 20, 2024.
In the Premier League, Pep Guardiola and his team have the opportunity to set a record by winning the championship four times in a row.
They are already well on their way, as they control their destiny and only need to win all their remaining matches, totaling 6 in all. Achieving this feat is truly important to the coach and the club’s management, and they are using every means to motivate the players.
In fact, they have found a way to remind them of this every morning by inscribing it on the walls of the training ground.
Phil Foden, the team’s attacking midfielder, revealed that at every session, they read a phrase written on a wall at the entrance to the training ground.
“Every time we step onto the Manchester City training ground, there’s a phrase written on a wall that says: ‘No one has won 4 Premier Leagues in a row… yet,’” he revealed.
