Before joining Real Madrid, Kylian Mbappé earned a staggering salary at PSG, where he was the highest-paid player in Ligue 1.
However, to join the Madrid club, the captain of the French national team made significant sacrifices, agreeing to a substantial pay cut.
While he was earning an annual salary of €75 million at the Parisian club, his salary was almost cut by two-thirds when he moved to Real Madrid.
The French striker now earns a salary of €31.5 million with the 2023-2024 La Liga champions.
Although this is lower than what he earned at PSG, it still makes him the third highest-paid player in the Spanish league. According to Foot Mercato, which recently revealed the ranking of the highest-paid players in La Liga, the list is surprisingly topped by the young Dutchman De Jong, who is the highest-paid player in La Liga ahead of Robert Lewandowski (€33.5 million) and Kylian Mbappé (€31.2 million).
With an annual salary of €37.5 million, the Dutch midfielder is thus the highest-paid player in La Liga.
As for Vinicius, he ranks sixth, ahead of his club teammate Jude Bellingham, who is in seventh place.
The Brazilian earns an annual salary of €20.8 million, while the Englishman earns €18.7 million.
