Kylian Mbappé officially signed with Real Madrid before the start of Euro 2024, ending a saga that lasted several years at PSG.
The French forward announced his five-year deal on June 3rd, marking a significant career move that will commence after Euro 2024 in Germany, where he currently competes with the national team. Interestingly, Mbappé may be joined by another teammate from France and former PSG player in Madrid.
According to recent revelations from the Spanish press, Real Madrid is also considering recruiting Adrien Rabiot, who, like Mbappé, is out of contract this summer. The 29-year-old midfielder from the French national team is nearing the end of his tenure at Juventus Turin and could potentially reunite with Mbappé in the Spanish capital next season.
Rabiot has remained calm about his future, stating in recent press conferences, “I thought my future would be sorted before the Euros as I said in March. That’s not the case, but it doesn’t worry me. I’m focused on the competition.”
Real Madrid sees Rabiot as a potential successor to Toni Kroos in midfield, highlighting their strategic planning amidst Mbappé’s high-profile transfer.
