At the end of his contract on June 30th, Keylor Navas will leave PSG freely and without any transfer fee. To chart a new course for his career, the 37-year-old Costa Rican goalkeeper could potentially move to the MLS. However, Tata Martino has shut the door on Navas joining Inter Miami, where Lionel Messi plays.

Arriving at PSG in the summer of 2019, Keylor Navas will depart the Parisian club after five seasons. With his contract expiring on June 30th, the Costa Rican goalkeeper will leave the club freely and without a fee this summer, as recently announced by the red and blue outfit.

Tata Martino shuts down Keylor Navas

To continue his career, Keylor Navas might explore an opportunity in the MLS. While his name has been linked with several franchises, the former Real Madrid goalkeeper already knows he won’t be joining Inter Miami.

“We’re not thinking about replacing our goalkeeper”

Speaking at a press conference after Orlando City – Inter Miami (0-0), Tata Martino spoke candidly about the Keylor Navas situation. “There’s no need to study the CV (of Keylor Navas) because he’s a very experienced goalkeeper, but we’re not thinking about replacing our goalkeeper (Drake Callender). We’re not looking to reinforce the goalkeeper position.”
