Kondogbia is aiming for the title in the Europa League.
For the second leg, Marseille will host Benfica at the Vélodrome this Thursday. In an interview with Canal Football Club on Sunday night, Geoffrey Kondogbia expressed his ambitious goals in the Europa League.
“At Benfica, we did well. (…) The objective in European competition is always to win. We play to win no matter what. To win, we need to advance past this round, which is important.
We will try to prepare well to have a flawless performance. To leave a mark, you must know what you represent, what this jersey implies. Then, you must focus on what lies ahead. What happened, we must forget. What matters is what we will do tomorrow. Marseille must stay at the top. The roof of the world is Europe,” confessed Geoffrey Kondogbia, Marseille’s summer signing.
