In a very tough match in the Premier League, Manchester City secured a 2-0 victory over Tottenham.
With a brace from Norwegian prodigy Erling Haaland, Pep Guardiola and his players are just one game away from clinching the Premier League title for the fourth consecutive time.
According to some commentary, the world’s greatest league has become too boring.
In the press conference following his team’s victory, Pep Guardiola responded to criticisms about the Premier League being boring.
“Is the Premier League boring? No, that’s not the case. It’s so tough.
If it was about money, then Manchester United should have won all the titles, Chelsea should have won all the titles, Arsenal should have won all the titles. They have spent more than us over the past 5-6 years. They should be there, and they’re not.
So now it’s boring? No, it’s not boring,” the Catalan tactician said in the press conference.
Arsenal and Manchester City have been locked in a fierce battle for the title for many weeks.
Liverpool, now out of contention, was also in the mix until recently.
Manchester is now just one step away from winning the title and etching their name in English football history.
