Luis Enrique’s team doesn’t have a match this weekend, so they held a training session on Sunday. Following the session, both the PSG coach and Kylian Mbappé stayed at the PSG Campus to watch the U19 match.
PSG is gearing up for the showdown. On Tuesday night, they will travel to the Lluis Companys Olympic Stadium to take on FC Barcelona for the quarter-final return leg of the Champions League. Unlike last week, Kylian Mbappé’s teammates don’t have any scheduled matches this weekend. As reported by Le Parisien, after this training session, several PSG members stayed at the Campus to watch the U19 match. On Sunday, the young players of the Parisian club faced US Dunkerque in the league. Ethan Mbappé, Senny Mayulu, and Yoram Zague, all of whom have appeared for PSG’s first team this season, were starters. As the newspaper points out, both Luis Campos and Luis Enrique, along with Kylian Mbappé, attended the match.
Luis Enrique receives a detailed report after every PSG youth match
This isn’t the first time this season that the PSG coach has stayed at the PSG Campus to observe the youth teams. Luis Enrique particularly wants to keep an eye on the Titis who have recently had playing time in the first team, such as Senny Mayulu and Yoram Zague. Each performance of the U19 team is reported to the Spaniard, who has sought extensive monitoring of them since taking over as PSG’s coach last July.
