Luis Enrique is set to make some significant changes this summer, with several players already earmarked for departure.
According to Le Parisien, the Spanish coach has drawn up a list of eight players who are not part of his plans for the upcoming season. Among them are Renato Sanches, the Portuguese midfielder who has lost form, as well as Juan Bernat, Béninois Colin Dagba, Ismaël Gharbi, and Ilyes Housni.
Also on the list are Noha Lemina, Vimoj Muntu wa Mungu, and Louis Mouquet.
All of these players did not participate in the group training session on Wednesday. However, they are undergoing specific training sessions on their own. The Parisian management is advising them to find new clubs before the start of the season. Otherwise, they might be released from their contracts or not included in Luis Enrique’s squad.
Luis Enrique is reportedly offering these players to two clubs. According to Italian media, PSG has contacted Genoa and Las Palmas to gauge the possibility of a transfer.
However, issues such as the player’s salary and concerns about his physical condition might hinder any potential deal.
As with last summer, Juan Bernat is not part of Luis Enrique’s plans. The former Bayern Munich player was on loan at Benfica last season, but the loan did not go as planned due to a pubalgia operation that kept him out for a significant part of the league.
While his future is being decided, Juan Bernat will be part of the loft created by Paris Saint-Germain.
