Ousmane Dembélé is unstoppable. Already a scorer in the duel against FC Barcelona, the former FC Barcelona player netted a brace on Wednesday night against Lorient, bringing PSG closer to another French championship title. Following his outstanding performance, the 2018 World Cup champion responded to criticisms about his supposed lack of efficiency in front of goal.

An Ousmane Dembélé without significant efficiency in front of the net was already a dangerous player. But in recent days, the French international has been increasing his goal tally with PSG. Such efficiency could propel him to a new level in the capital. The Mbappé/Dembélé duo shone bright.

Already a scorer in the Champions League quarter-final against FC Barcelona, Dembélé confirmed his good form by bagging a brace against Lorient on Wednesday night (4-1). The other two goals were scored by Kylian Mbappé.

“Being asked to score more, so I’m happy.”

Speaking to Prime Video, Dembélé commented on his regained efficiency. “It’s good to score goals. Being asked to score more, so I’m happy. We need to keep going because important matches are coming up. Was there any specific training done? No. I’m just projecting myself more towards the goal, the balls come and I put them in,” said the French international.
