The Reds full-back, who is expected to sign on a free from Real Madrid next summer, could arrive earlier than expected.
It’s an open secret: Trent Alexander-Arnold is expected to sign with Real Madrid. The right-back has yet to renew with Liverpool, his former club, with just a few months left on his contract, and is expected to leave his former club when it expires in June. While Fabrizio Romano revealed a few hours ago the astronomical contract that awaits the 26-year-old right-back in Spain, new information has emerged regarding his arrival date in the Madrid dressing room. Indeed, the player is expected to play for Real Madrid very soon.
Alexander-Arnold present earlier than expected?
The England international is indeed expected to play in the Club World Cup in his new colors, starting June 14th, according to TalkSport. To do so, La Liga will have to respect the competition’s deadline and register the player between June 1st and 10th, after receiving the various documents that Liverpool must submit in due time. The Reds will have to agree to the player’s participation in the competition. This shouldn’t pose any problems, since they are not participating.
