Turkish midfielder Arda Güler appears to be clearly disappointed with the role assigned to him at Real Madrid.
After Jude Bellingham’s goal in the 91st minute during the Clasico, all the players from Real Madrid’s bench rushed to celebrate the victory with the rest of their teammates.
However, Güler was noticeably more subdued. As reported by Defensa Central, he remained in the technical area without much expression.
Indeed, the playmaker seems visibly frustrated with the role he has been given within the club.
Güler was prepared to play a secondary role when he first arrived in Madrid. But he did not expect, at this stage, for his playing minutes to be so insignificant. The player has barely participated in seven official matches.
Aware of this, Carlo Ancelotti intends to have a one-on-one conversation with his pupil. This is to confirm to him that he intends to give him more importance in the upcoming matches. After practically securing the league title, the Real Madrid coach will rotate his squad.
This is in order to rest his key players for the Champions League semi-finals and give playing time to his less regular players.
It remains to be seen if these predictions will come true and if Güler will be content with being a mere complementary player.
Finally, at this stage, it is necessary for player and club to seek a loan for the player at the end of the season.
The goal is to avoid the stagnation of a player who, given his age (19 years old), needs to play to continue growing.
