Arda Güler did not hesitate to respond to Dominik Szoboszlai on his social networks.
While the double confrontation between Hungary and Turkey was unbalanced on the pitch, that wasn’t the case on social media. Last night, the Turks held their own, securing a comfortable 3-0 victory over the Hungarians, notably with a goal from Arda Güler (Turkey had already won 3-1 in the first leg). On the pitch, the tension was palpable as the young Real Madrid player teased Dominik Szoboszlai and his team.
“Szoboszlai, an Instagram comment”
On his Instagram account, the Liverpool player was quick to react after the match, commenting on an Instagram post showing Güler in the act of provocation, with the number “1088.” This number corresponds to the number of minutes the Madrid player has played since the beginning of the year with his club.
Visually affected by this attack, the White House’s great hope responded by posting a photo of the clash with the caption: “This guy is a joker. 6 goals aren’t enough to shut you up?” Along with a photomontage of the scoreboard, he added “Szoboszlai, an Instagram comment” to the list of scorers. A subtle dig to put an end to this heated exchange.
