No fewer than 16 Real Madrid players left the capital for this international break. Among them was Antonio Rüdiger, the only player from the Real Madrid squad to have been called up by Germany.
The defender did not participate in the 2-1 win against Villarreal with Madrid, but he did play in the Champions League derby, during which a derogatory gesture towards the fans caused a stir. This time, it was with the national team that Rüdiger was criticized for a minor altercation with a German fan.
Antonio stopped as he got off the National team bus to attend to everyone who wanted an autograph or a photo, but one of them wanted to touch his shoulder, a gesture that didn’t please the Real Madrid player, who didn’t hesitate to say to him: “You don’t have to touch me.”
Although the minor incident did not escalate, some voices in Germany are already being raised to question some of the defender’s behavior, despite his reputation for being a very cheerful and friendly person with his teammates and fans.
