Antonio Rüdiger has just issued a challenge to Kylian Mbappé, in case their teams face each other in the Champions League final.
In an interview with the media outlet “Carré,” the German star revealed his intention to make life difficult for the French captain if they were to meet in the final.
He stated that he would give Mbappé no respite and would not hesitate to “take him down” if he managed to dribble past him.
“If we face Mbappé’s team in the final, we will win. And if he dribbles past me, I will take him down,” he declared, smiling.
It’s a clear message that promises an exciting showdown for football fans if PSG and Real Madrid both qualify for the Champions League final.
Indeed, both teams are favorites to reach the final stages of the competition, which will be held at Wembley. Real Madrid will play the first leg of the semi-finals against Bayern Munich on April 30, 2024.
