After long months of injury, Thibaut Courtois is back. Apparently, everything is going well for the Madrid goalkeeper.
In La Liga, on Tuesday, May 14, 2024, the Belgian international made 10 saves against Alavés.
He prevented his team from conceding any goals. Speaking to the media after the match, Thibaut Courtois commented on the form of his teammates.

On the Vini-Bellingham duo: “They are two of the best players in the world. As madridistas, we can be very happy that they play for our team. They are different, but they both bring a lot.
Vini destabilizes the defense, Bellingham stretches the team. I am very happy for both of them. Bellingham has integrated very well and has had an excellent season. Vinicius has not yet reached his peak. We benefit a lot from having them.”
The best is yet to come: “We are very happy to share everything with the madridistas at Cibeles, today in the stadium… We have a very difficult final ahead of us against a very tough opponent.
These are very strong teams, who defend very well and enter the box very effectively.
I hope we win, but we must respect our opponents, show the best of ourselves at Wembley, and hopefully win the Cup.”
