Turkey’s coach, Vincenzo Montella, revealed the extended list on Friday, with the Italian having to trim it down by 8 players for the final squad. Alongside Güler, Juventus Turin’s Kenan Yildiz is also included in the initial 35.

Three players from Ligue 1 have made the cut in Montella’s selection. They are Lille’s Yusuf Yazici and the two Rennes players, Bertug Yildirim and Dogan Alemdar, the latter returning to Brittany this summer after his loan spell at Troyes.
