Zinedine Zidane, the French football legend, could return to the team’s bench to replace an illustrious coach.
This is the revelation made in the Spanish press a few days ago, indicating that the Frenchman is being targeted to succeed Carlo Ancelotti.
While the Italian’s future at the helm of Real Madrid remains unclear, some sources indicate that the former Bayern Munich coach is expected to leave at the end of the season.
To replace him, the Madrid club is reportedly eyeing several young coaches, the most frequently mentioned being Xabi Alonso.
The latter is doing excellent work in Germany and at the helm of Bayer Leverkusen, and his career at the White House has been impressive.
However, German newspapers are highly skeptical about the Spanish coach’s willingness to leave Leverkusen so soon, and Real Madrid is forced to consider other options.
In the absence of Xabi Alonso to replace their illustrious coach Carlo Ancelotti, the Madrid management is reportedly considering bringing Zinedine Zidane back to the bench.
Without a club since leaving the Madrid club in 2021, the former Juventus player could return to Madrid once again.
