For the upcoming season, Saudi giant Al Nassr is looking to finalize the departures of three of its stars.
Indeed, Rudy Galetti, a journalist at Sport Italia, reports that Al-Alami wants to make room on the list of foreign players.
This operation could lead to several departures. Thus, Laporte, 29, joined the club from City last summer for €27.5 million.
The Spaniard has appeared 37 times in all competitions, helping Al-Nassr keep 13 clean sheets.
He has scored five goals, but his club will listen to offers if a good one is found this summer.
Also, Talisca, 30, has been in great form this season alongside Cristiano Ronaldo in Luis Castro’s attack.
The Brazilian forward has scored 25 goals and provided four assists in 25 matches before suffering a muscle injury. Al-Nassr is said to consider the former Benfica player as “replaceable”. And finally, former Arsenal goalkeeper David Ospina, 35, will also leave the club as a free agent when his contract expires on June 30.
The Colombian has been with the team since July 2022. He has made 26 appearances and kept 14 clean sheets.
Sadio Mané returning to Europe?
Sadio Mané, Cristiano Ronaldo’s teammate at Al-Nassr, could return to Europe next season.
The Senegalese forward had left Bayern Munich to join the Saudi Pro League in 2023.
Indeed, one of the first footballers to join Cristiano Ronaldo’s team is former Liverpool forward Sadio Mané.
He surprised everyone when he left Bayern Munich to play in the SPL. And so far, he has been one of the most influential players in the Saudi team, with 30 goals in 42 matches.
