The first words from Michail Antonio following his serious car accident were shared by Samuel Woods, a dog walker who found him in his crashed car. The West Ham striker, the victim of a dramatic collision, was discovered disoriented in his vehicle on Saturday afternoon.
Antonio, driving his Ferrari FF, reportedly lost control and crashed into a tree, with the impact throwing him toward the passenger side. Trapped in the wreckage for nearly an hour, he was rescued after a swift response from emergency services. Samuel Woods, the witness who came across the scene, told The Sun:
“I said ‘hello’ to see if anyone was alive. He was disoriented and asked me, ‘Where am I? What’s happening? What car am I in?’”
The 34-year-old caregiver explained that the atmosphere was tense, particularly because of the smell of gasoline emanating from the car. Fortunately, emergency services arrived quickly to stabilize the player and evacuate him to the hospital.
