According to Spanish media, the future of this French international at Real Madrid could be in serious jeopardy.
The outlook appears increasingly uncertain for Aurélien Tchouaméni. Spanish reports suggest that the French defensive midfielder, signed by Real Madrid for €100 million in the summer of 2022, has yet to establish himself as a key figure in the eyes of the Merengues’ management. Even more concerning, his recent performances are said to have further damaged his reputation with the club’s leadership, as reported by Relevo.
The Spanish sports daily further suggests that Real Madrid would be open to parting ways with the former Monaco player if a suitable offer were to arise. In contrast, Eduardo Camavinga is seen as a cornerstone for the future of Madrid’s midfield, with his potential regarded as higher than that of Tchouaméni.
Real Madrid aims to bring in a Ballon d’Or winner
The club’s leadership is considering strengthening their midfield next summer with a top-tier player, and one of their preferred options is Rodri, the Manchester City stalwart and winner of the 2024 Ballon d’Or.
However, Aurélien Tchouaméni still appears to have the trust of his coach, Carlo Ancelotti. The Italian manager has started him in 13 of the 14 matches played this season across all competitions.
