Free since the termination of his contract with Juventus, Paul Pogba (31) is preparing for his return to the pitch in March 2025. Despite interest from Saudi Arabia and Major League Soccer, the French international is determined to continue his career in Europe, with hopes of making a return to the national team. While his name has been linked to Olympique de Marseille, the midfielder could attract attention from other French clubs as well.
However, this will not be the case for OGC Nice, as Florian Maurice clarified on La Chaîne L’Equipe. “I don’t think we have the possibility to bring Paul Pogba to Nice. I believe many clubs will be interested, even though it’s been a while since he last played. There will be huge competition, and we won’t be able to compete. He’s a top player, and what’s happening to him right now is tough for him. But he’s a top player. He would be a great asset to our team, but I don’t think we have the capacity to bring him to Nice.” The message is pretty clear.
